Year 5 represents the final stage of the Al-Qadriyyah Islamic Studies Programme and brings together the knowledge, skills, and methodologies developed throughout the previous years.
Students engage with advanced texts in Hanafi Fiqh, Aqidah, Usul al-Fiqh, Usul al-Hadith, Usul al-Tafsir, Hadith, and Tafsir, studying works that have shaped Islamic scholarship for centuries.
This year is designed to help students develop a mature understanding of the Islamic sciences, enabling them to engage with classical texts, appreciate scholarly discourse, and benefit their families and communities through sound knowledge and guidance.
What You Will Study
Al-Hidayah (Akhirayn)
Continue the study of one of the most authoritative works in Hanafi jurisprudence, exploring advanced legal discussions and the evidences behind juristic rulings.
Sharh al-Aqaid with Khayali
An advanced study of Sunni creed, examining theological principles and the beliefs of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah through a classical scholarly framework.
Tawdih wa Talwih
One of the most respected texts in Usul al-Fiqh, providing students with a deeper understanding of legal theory, juristic principles, and scholarly reasoning.
Usul al-Tafsir
Study the principles and methodologies used by scholars in understanding and interpreting the Qur’an.
Tafsir al-Baydawi
Explore one of the most celebrated classical commentaries of the Qur’an, renowned for its linguistic, theological, and scholarly depth.
Optional Modules
Mishkat al-Masabih
A comprehensive collection of Hadith covering faith, worship, character, and daily life, widely studied throughout the Muslim world.
